A video wall is a special multi-display setup that consists of multiple professional displays tiled together and/or projection images overlapped in order to form one large screen enhancing the visual experience. Typical display technologies include LCD panels, Direct View LED arrays, blended projection screens, Laser Phosphor Displays and/or rear projection cubes.
Displays or TV Screens are specifically designed for use in video walls and have narrow bezels in order to minimize the gap between active display areas, built with long-term serviceability in mind and can be run in 24×7 applications.
Reasons for using a video wall instead of a single large screen can include the ability to customize tile layouts delivering greater screen area per unit cost.
